Fue un día lluvioso, llegaron 16 niñ@s y empezamos nuestra jornada. Children's Peace Theatre comparte su método y su visión artística basada en las Compasión, Creatividad y Coraje. Con estas "3 C" los niñ@s aprenden practicar la paz y a ver los conflictos como una oportunidad de transformación y cambio positivo.

Después del receso aprendimos la importancia de la meditación, ese momento en donde respirando podemos encontrar la Paz en nosotros mismos.
Aprendimos la importancia de el teatro, la música y artes visuales, experimentamos en cada una de estas artes para sensibilizarnos e integrarnos en un solo grupo.

Los niñ@s lo hicieron muy bien se mostraron entusiasmados en aprender y en practicar cosas diferentes a las que les enseñan en la escuela y lo mejor de todo empezaron a usar las "3 C" para resolver algunos conflictos que surgieron en el transcurso de nuestra jornada.

Estoy contento con el comienzo y el resultado del primer día. En mis 3 años de experiencia colaborando con Children's Peace Theatre he tenido gratos momentos creando con niños canadienses y de diferentes partes del mundo, el compartir conocimiento y estar presente en esos momentos de luz y creación con los niños y niñas que viven en mi país hace de este día, uno de los mejores de mi vida.
El equipo de Guías Artísticos y asistentes artísticos es genial, es muy completo y talentoso. Estoy seguro que será una jornada llena de talento, buena energía y mucho conocimiento.

Así, oficialmente Children's Peace Theatre tiene una sede en Mexico y es en La Casa Internacional del Escritor de Bacalar, donde se forjará la siguiente generación de artistas que usaran la paz como un medio y como un fin.

Me siento muy honrado de poder dirigir este campamento en Mexico y colaborar con artistas socialmente responsables, preocupados por el medio ambiente y el medio en que se desenvuelven, con estos valores y actitud estoy seguro que se lograra un gran avance en el ámbito cultural de Bacalar, Quintana Roo.

Gracias a Children's Peace Theatre, La Casa Internacional del Escritor y a los artistas residentes. gracias a todo el equipo que esta haciendo posible que esto suceda.

It was a rainy day, 16 kids came an we begin our journey. Children's Peace Theatre shares its method and its artistic vision based on Compassion, Creativity and Courage. With these "3 C" s the children learn and practice peace and see conflicts as an opportunity for transformation and positive change.
After the break we learned the importance of meditation, breathing that moment where we can find peace in ourselves.
We learned the importance of theater, music and visual arts, they get to experience in each of these arts to sensitize and integrate into a single group.
The children did very well and were very excited to learn and practice different things than what they learn in school and best of all they began to use the "3 Cs" to resolve some conflicts that arose in the course of our journey.
I'm happy with the start and the result of the first day. In my three years of experience working with Children's Peace Theatre I have had great moments creating with Canadian children and children from different parts of the world, sharing knowledge and being present at the time of light and creation with children living in my country makes this day, one of the best in my life.
The team of artistic guides and youth guides is great, it is very complete and talented. I'm sure it will be a day full of talent, good energy and a lot of knowledge.
So, officially Children's Peace Theatre has an office in Mexico and is in the International House Of The Writer of Bacalar, which will forge the next generation of artists who will use peace as a means to an end.
I feel very honored to lead this camp in Mexico and I am very happy working with socially responsible artists, concerned about the environment and the place in which they work, with these values and attitude I'm sure a breakthrough was achieved in the cultural field of Bacalar Quintana Roo.
